Today air travel most likely includes wait time in some way or the other. Whether it be at check-in, security or due to a delayed flight. We all end up waiting at some point.
Turns out when people have to wait they like to watch each other. For this reason FreakJet has created a platform dedicated to people watching. Travelers can upload funny pictures taken at airports. Check it outUnknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2077673449176693549.post-68367469238529490582012-01-01T17:13:00.000+01:002012-01-01T17:13:10.117+01:00Behind-The-Scenes: Your Bag's Journey On DeltaEver wondered what happens to your bag once you checked it in?
Delta Airlines is taking a new approach by letting passengers silently bid on a bumped seat. If a flight is oversold passengers can name an amount, during check-in, they are willing to accept in return of taking a later flight.

United Airlines reports that 2010 ended with 77 mainline airplanes featuring the new livery. The majority of them are Continental aircrafts since that livery requires less work than the one from United. CO has completed painting 70 planes of various types. UA has repainted seven Boeing 777 with the most recent one out of the paint shop last Tuesday. Additional 17 UA planes will be repainted in January. By the end of 2011 UA expects to have more than 250 mainline planes repainted.
